I have not been to the dentist since we have moved into our new house. I know I need to make an appointment but it is so easy to forget. I also need to take the time to research which dentist in our area accepts my insurance because the visits are usually pretty pricey. I also like to know a little about the atmosphere and staff that make up the office so I feel comfortable while I am there.

 I always found it nerve racking lying in that chair with all those tools going in and out of my mouth. The other things that irks me on those cleaning visits is the sound of the scraping against my teeth, and the suction tube that has to stay in your mouth to suck down your saliva so you do not drool all over yourself. For these reasons I feel it is very important for dentist's offices to be as comfortable as possible.
