I just realized I haven't written since I had my baby boy! He will be 3 months old on the 18th already. It is amazing how fast he is growing. I fall more and more in love with him everyday. I am so grateful I have the opportunity to work from home part time so I can be with him. He is such a good baby. He is starting to grab at everything and will smile back at you when you smile at him most of the time :) He just started to sleep in his crib and seems to have no problem with the transition. I had him take his day naps in the crib first for a couple of days to get used to it. We are having a slight problem with him sucking on his pacifier at night though because he tends to spit it out and then cries until we come back and put it in for him. I have decided to ween it away from him now before it gets too hard later. We are looking forward to getting less interrupted sleep even though it my cost us some evenings of him crying for his binky. I will let you know how it goes!

I am 39 weeks and 1 day pregnant still. I had my appointment today and the doc told me if I don't go into labor by next Friday's appointment I will be induced. Hopefully I go in naturally but I trust the doctor's decision. I can't believe how long each day feels because of the waiting. The last 9 months seems like nothing now..lol. I can't wait to meet my baby boy and hold him in my arms. We will be having the 4th baby I know this month. They are all going to be boys too! My sister in law is having her's the beginning of December too. It is such a big baby year for my family and friends. Before the new year there will be 9 babies who have entered the world..amazing :)

If you have any kind of service or product for sale you should be accepting credit cards.

It happened again yesterday! I went to my local farmer stand and just needed a few veggies to make shrimp fajitas with guacomole and when I went to pay with my debit she said I had to spend $10. If you take credit cards how can you deny the sale. It is so ridiculous. I just left all the food there and went to another store I knew accepted credit without any minimum. Its not like I tried to send a $1.00. The total was probably around $8. I heard this is illegal according to an article I read. The merchant contracts tell them they must accept the credit card not matter the amount of the sale.

I was in a store the other day and spent at least a half hour looking for what I needed went to the cash register and was rung up only to find they do not accept credit cards. I was so annoyed because there was no sign entering the store about it. I told the cashier that they need to let people know before wasting their time in their store that they do not take cards. I was shocked because I would think that it they had credit card swipers they would be able to make more sales. They lost out on my sales and I am sure many others. I don't know anyone who really walks around with a lot of cash on them anymore because of the ease of using a debit or credit card.

We were thinking of refinancing but feel it wouldn't be worth it in our case because we have only lived in our new house for a little over 2 years so we do not have that much equity. The closing costs are still pretty high. It is a shame though because the rates are so low. I just wish the property taxes would decline as well. NJ is unbelievable with their property taxes. It is getting pretty ridiculous.
